I wear contact lenses most of the time and have glasses for when my eyes are tired or if I want a more physical barrier in social situations.

I'd be really interested in perusing your evidence linking asperger's with poor eyesight

I've worn glasses for 28 years and have never thought about the concept of glasses being a physical barrier. I'm far sighted and only really need them for reading, but I wear them all the time. I do not feel right with out them on. I think that I feel protected by them. Interesting.

I wear glasses most of the time except for when I have to sleep, take a shower, go swimming or ride roller coasters at an amusement park. :)
