Hail the red dragon of wales and the 3 colors of Ireland! Im a celt still pure blood of both im not ashamed.

Imagine seeing a film about Boudica and the men who fought beside her actually did fight in their 'birthday suits' in the film.
Would certainly frighten a lot of people and I'd have some sympathy for the Romans in that case.

It was psychological warfare, the gauls did the same, romans wore full armor and celts did fight naked not afraid to die and did decapitate Romans and decorated their houses with their heads as trophies.

Celtic Warriors More info Celts gave the Romans nightmares for 500 years. At times Romans and Greeks hired Celts as mercenaries in battle including Alexander the Great. And Bartholomew.Bartholomes right hand man was a celt.

Yes joined My heritage, traced back a lot of surnames to when surnames first came popular1600's ten generations seeing some interesting patterns. Love this program. It does all the leg work by spreading the search to other members. It is really good, genealogy mixed with DNA. Only issue is linear not horizontal.

My daughter got on FamilySearch and thought it would be fun to go backwards on her/our genealogy lines as far as she could possibly go. She ended up finding Harald Bluetooth and from there it was a straight shot back to Odin😄 Scandinavian chieftain genealogy aside, it's really fun to peer back in time so far.

That's The issue on My heritage if a cousin has not do a DNA test they will not show up as they are horizontal on the tree.

Looking at the various surnames on my family tree , noticed many are the same as other Dutch people I have know over the years, lots of endogamy back in the home country, wish I knew when younger, pubic school high school, street friends as my parents lived in areas where other dutch lived, They said nothing.
