I only use my real name on facebook, but I really didn't like the fact that everyone was doing it...
Apparently you can fake it now just slightly, but it won't feel the same as it was on bebo/myspace etc.

I use Emor, but my real name is, Emma.
People from my high school are pathetic and go to ridiculous lengths to track me down.
Most of them call me Emor to just rub in the fact they found out most of the sites I visit. Only some people actually call me Emma there.

Thanks. I doubt they'd find me here 'cause I never talk about my AS to anyone at school(and they've only found my YouTube channel and stuff 'cause I've slipped up and mentioned something in a conversation with someone).
And that sucks, Ana . Some people are just total arseholes and hate people for no reason :/.

That's what I end up doing... But my girlfriend found out about Wrongplanet and thought everything I wrote was really sweet... at least I got a positive reaction from it... But it depends really? At least you put a different picture so they won't recognise you :lol:

I use my real name on Facebook, because I only have a close knit few friends who I talk to a lot, I used to be very open online and talk about my life and stuff, I don't do that any more due to problems with idiot Daily Fail/Telegraph readers slagging me off for not being in paid employment due to having AS and other disabilities. it's not like I haven't tried to get a job, but beyond the voluntary sector nobody will employ PWDs (People With Disabilities).

I use my "real" name (which is not my legal name but it's the name I go by in real life, even at work) on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, but on YouTube, Tumblr and here (obviously) I have a username.
YouTube tried to get everyone to use their real names a few years ago, but I resisted because my channel is known by the username and I wanted to keep it the way it was from the beginning.
