Do you play a musical instrument?

I took piano lessons one summer but never really got into it. Also in elementary school they made me play recorder but I hated it. I wish I had more musical talent and played an instrument. Violin seems cool.

No. I don't think I ever heard of it before. I do simple folk songs and and there is one Church hymn that I have learned. I want to learn a couple of Christmas carols before December.

I've played the bass since I was in High School. My profile picture is actually of my favorite bass. Overwater by Tanglewood Jazz bass. Which is a misnomer with the double humbuckers and range of tonality it has with active electronics. Overwater normally makes custom basses but they did a small production run of these with Tanglewood. Nearly got lost in the mail getting to me. They sent it to the wrong a town of the same name in another province then lost track of it. I like a lot of rock, funk, reggae, ska, punk, alternative, indie, motown, some hip hop, techno, folk. Ok I just am a music fanatic. That's my thing.

I Sing, play guitar and piano. Ive tried my hand at violin, and played the recorder a bit.

Drums and synths are the only ones I'm really confident with, but I've been dabbling with guitar, bass, and other things over the past 20+ years. Not knowing a lot of music theory gets in my way, but I can always jam with other people on any instrument or write pretty cohesive music, so that's always a plus :)

Voice, my body, and a bit of "egg" (you know, the egg-shaped shaker/rattle purcussive instrument).
I have a guitar, ukelele and a keyboard that I need to get my finger(s) out and learn.

I play the oboe and bassoon. Or at least I can. It's been a little while since I've really played (a year and a half), sadly. But once I'm settled up here in my new state I'd like to join a community ensemble and have already contacted some.

I'm learning guitar. 🤘

I can play the piano/keyboard by ear. I play decently and while I avoid the bass clef as I have trouble reading sheet music on it, the treble clef I can read pretty well. My timing is a bit off but you can still figure out what I’m playing. I taught myself the first few bars of Debussey’s Clair de Lune, and The Entertainer and Fur Elise nearly complete. I can also play 5he piano portion of Total Eclipse of the Heart.

I don't recognize any of the songs listed, but being able to play by ear is definitely a talent.

I’ve played Claire de Lune and Fur Elise. They are standards.

The Entertainer is a classic Ragtime piece by Scott Joplin.

I can faintly come up with a memory of total Eclipse of the heart. It is a popular song I think.

I wish I could play by ear. I did learn this summer a technique for listening and learning the chords.
