do you have an imaginary world?

ok here i go. My country is debreceni in eastern hungary where there is full of autistic people comming from all over the world and our president is Vladimir Putin who is autistic too. HAHAHAHA I don't want to tell more because it's way out from the real world but it could change the world for the best.

What kind of imaginary world? 'Cause my main group I hang with is a bunch of writers and artists, it's weird for us to deal with somebody who doesn't have a world (or two or three or four...) they're working on. Some are pure sci-fi/fantasy, some are grounded in history, some are an odd mix of the two.

One of my worlds I keep private so I can get as wild and creative and therapeutic with it as I like. The others are at varying levels of availability.

Like Ashe I have a few, some I share and a couple that are just for me. I've always believed 'reality' to be subjective and as such I build many of the things I love into alternate viewpoints.

I have a variety of worlds, in some I'm a superhero, in others I'm tiny and hidden from the world, one is Star Trek themed. Which one I go to depends on my mood..

A lot of them. I have a main universe, so to speak, (bunch of different planets, gods, types of magic, and all that good stuff). I'm officially working on it all the time, but nobody knows one of the characters is a self-insert ehehehe.

I also have one specifically I used for therapeutic reasons - which really is my go wild think of whatever you want world. In my other I'm not constricted exactly, but I want it to make sense, flow together well, etc. It does have a big mythology based after all, so I often have to keep logic in touch with that one. So in this therapeutic one I just sorta plan and do whatever I want with it, and put in things I didn't want to put in the other (Well I did, just in terms of making sense, the things didn't really mesh well with my universe.) Planning out mythologies and lands and worlds and what not is fun for me, so I still do that with my therapeutic one, I'm just waaaaaaay less strict really.

Actually, a lot of them. Some are just concepts, another ones are planets, with their own history, geology and so on. They all are part of what I call my microcosmos [mikmáyaw]. Vajramayaw is a somewhat magic world, where I don't need to be so attached to Physical laws, and everything is quite stable and unchanging. Vajramayaw includes many direct influences from this world's cultures. Vajramayaw is a kind of sacred refuge/sanctuary, where I hide myself from Harkat [Antar (one of the Kcorasian languages) term for Earth]. The Kcorasian Universe, in the other hand, is almost an alternative version of this universe, with the same Physical laws and so on, where there is a great interplanetary empire [but not very populous] centered in Kcoras and Möbius. And some 'bridges' between this reality and mikmáyaw. And... an alternative version of Earth, with a somewhat different history, possibly leading into a future similar to Kcoras. Kcoras is an earthlike planet with an advanced civilization with a culture based on what I call the ideal society. There are many other civilizations scattered along the principal galaxy [a spiral one somewhat larger than the Milky Way], some of them have direct interaction with Kcoras, such as Sicurenn, Nennutskaïa and Þunglyndi. Most are still fairly incipient, as there are just too many features to be developed in a single lifetime. And there is some links between the alternative Earth's universe and Kcoras/Möbius one, one in Izanagi [a planet in Amaterasu system, or HD 101364], linking Izanagi and Kcoras, and another one linking Earth and Möbius. However-ever, there is many things still to be done. Too many for a lifetime.

I have always found myself creating imaginary worlds inside my head and retreating to them for theraputic reasons, too.

I think I started when I was 4 years old. It's a very personal thing for me and I don't really wish to share any specific details about these imaginary worlds.

I never have been very interested in fantasy, but I do have my own little world in my mind. For the most part, I think in pictures. When I'm going to do something that's not automatic, I will see myself doing it in my minds eye. At work,I will test solutions to problems in my mind. This way I can decide whether a solution will work or not. The problem is, that in the real world it doesn't always happen like it did in my world.

My world is a world created for my sci-fi novel where I can become each character and manipulate everything around me. I can soar through the air, zip through space and summon the mightiest of storms with my super powers.

I made Britain lose 30% of its land to seawater and had London become over flooded. :smilingimp:

Yes.

I've been creating it for a very long time in my head, but a year ago is when I first started to write it down. My "imaginary world" is a place where I have control over everything that happens.

Cali Cat
what she said. Interesting . theory.......

My mind is hyper over stimulated already! I have way too vivid fantasies about lust, women, lust, dating/marrying man in my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!! in my past dating experience, the fantasy is always better than stinky reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I kinda gave up dating for decades of celibacy. I do not have entire universes in my imagination.

I am NOT sure how Aspie I am.

I did have RP friends and dice! I miss them!

I agree! I think words are too slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a lot of ART in my mind!!!!!

I do NOT know how Aspie I am!!!!! I promise! I am very happy! there are multiple things going on in my brain........ but, honestly, the thinking in pictures, mm hmm, seems pretty familiar to me, when I think about where an object is , or where I want to go, (directions), how to plan future stuffs, I always think in images. it seems logical! kinda thought every one did that, seriously, words are too slow. My thoughts are too much, too many, too fast......

PS. edit, I know this is maybe off topic? but the images, so intense, that My eyes get really wide, my mouth falls open, I can NOT hear the words around me!!!!!!!!!!!! This is in a crowded space, or not so much, bright lights, noise, I don't know, but surrounds this one crush person most time, but happens at other times of stress. I can't determine the words that people are speaking! also, I don’t' get migraines, but intense LOUD, everything is LOUD, it comes through as pain! bright lights too. but no migraine pain. I had some brain injuries in the past too.

There are a few of us here that store everything as pictures, so you're not alone ;)

So, when the guy says "Hi......" and I start lady gentleman visualization fantasy of him touching my hand, holding my hand, kissing,... mmmm video image way more powerful than words (is REALLY what NT people think with words? I remain skeptical??? but is it true?????) .... the NT man tries to interpret my face "oh.... you are shy....." "mmmm" ? er, ah,.... I might manage to mumble.
"do you want a date?" oh, justice or not, my past experience predicts his future, I fantasy already date, marry, sex, used ,unsatisfied, starting considering lesbians, again............
"ah, no, thanks, I'm... ah..... I'm good." puzzled many man suitors that face.

So, if the Aspie men are visualizing porn? Ahhhh! No wonder we can't calm down to date or have a normal conversation!

Yes. The imaginary world is just my mind. Sometimes I get lost and can't hear the people trying to talk to me in the "real world".

It's kind of like a filing cabinet. And sometimes, when I get stressed, I just look at different files that are kind of like word documents, but instead of housing lines of letters and sentences, there are lines of concepts.

Like if you open the SCIENCE folder (2nd down), then choose the FORENSIC SCIENCE (Fourth down, under chemistry) folder among the other sciences, then choose PATHOLOGY among the different branches of forensics, and then choose BACTERIA among those, you can then choose SUBCATEGORIES OF BACTERIA, which is about the fourth one down, and it opens up to a sheet with little lines on concepts listed alphabetically by concept. Twelfth one down (under the category of Betaproteobacteria) is about this kind of bacteria that live in sewers and live communally in a sheath that is constructed by the bean-shaped bacteria on the end, with the bacteria multiplying to lengthen the sheath, they can only survive in warm, humid climates. Whenever nutrients become scarce they develop flagellae and burst from the sheath to live independently. This is in my mind but this slip of information comes from page 221 of "E-Z" Microbiology, which I read July 25, 2012 when It was on a desk in the science lab they had on the second floor of the technology building in Princeton University, first door on the right near the stairwell, but you have to pass Classroom A, to go to the lab.

By escaping to this information, I am also, in effect, escaping to the place where I gathered the information. I can even smell the agar the professor was heating up at the time.

Mine is "spli-space" This is the desktop environment when running my software, Splinter. It, essentially bridges the gap between my two favorite historical figures, Einstein and Lewis Carrol, who created Wonderland based on what he believed quantum reality to be like. Splinter turns the desktop environment into a virtual Wonderland where anything is possible and the more "crazy" outside the box thing you are trying to create, the better is works. I mean that so literally, too....It takes Carrol's quantum reality and allows us in the physical realm to interact with it. Just ONE splinterface, out of dozens I have made and the infinite number possible, just one of those interfaces, the Arkham Edition Batman one, allows for a GOOGLE times a GOOGLE times a TRILLION different ways you can 'instantly" click into a different appearance and/or functionality.

1 with a hundred zeros times one with a hundred zeros times 12 more zeros... Which is essentially, to a human, infinite, in scope.

It is the infinitely thin (just the electrons' size in depth), the height and width of the screens borders, yet the limitless virtual wonderland type universe when anything can be anything and do anything and everything at any and all times... Truly only limited by the imagination, more so than any other medium, as it is a blending of all the other mediums, in ridiculous ways that I had a uniquely skewed perspective of that allowed me to see doors that no one else could. That is all. I didnt do anyting special, just saw what was there.

Spli-space, it can hold all of your imaginary worlds, bring them to life.....

No, I don't.
I don't even know how to expand on that answer.

I write stuff and develop scenes/situations, but I don't think of that
as having an imaginary world.

Used to think I was quite imaginative. My imagination works by perceiving things in as many ways as I possibly can. It's more rational than imaginative.
