Do things like cosmetic blemishes with your stuff bothers you?

I don't mind if every day items show ordinary wear and tear, except for reading glasses. I just wear over-the-counter glasses for reading and own at least a dozen pairs. They are in every room, my car, my purse, everywhere I might need them. When they get scratched, or the earpieces no longer fit snuggly to my head, I throw them away and buy new ones.

What I am talking about is stuff you own? Example my glasses when they get one little scratch on them it bothers me to the point where I want to get them replaced. Also my cat scratched my Sony Bravia Anroid TV screen which still irritates me. You can still see out of it and only see the scratches in the light close up but it still bothers me to the point I want to replace the TV. I also tried those dumb fixes using toothpaste and other abrasions and they don't work.

Luckily my phone which is easy to prevent scratches I put it in an case and glass screen protector so it is still in mint condition.

I am just asking if this is a ASD thing or do things like this bother others too?

Yes, things like that do bother me. These seems to be a pecking order though, it's easier to adjust to scratches on electronics and dents in fridges than the same things in a car. Scratches on my glass smooth kayaks are only somewhat painful, car dents are a little tragedy.

Mind you I am not overly neat. The same car is usually full of crap but that's ok because it does not unbalance the universe. I have no problem wearing sweaters with holes and my office is a mess. It's like whatever is meant to be random can be a mess but if something is smooth and straight it needs to remain so. Misalignments of panels in a car infuriate me to no end.
