Do I have high end autism or am I just really emotional due to something I know about?

In the latter half of the 1990's I lived in constant fear and anxiety that the world would end soon. Everywhere I went I would hear about Y2K and the 2nd coming of Christ and all kinds of doom. I knew I was being ridiculous, but I just couldn't help it.

Now I practically wish the world would end and put the entire human race out of its misery. The thought of the world ending comforts me instead of frightening me. I read somewhere that people who have thoughts of suicide that comfort them must get help, so is that the same thing?
