Dealing with harassing forum moderators

Id say leave the forum you dont need to aggravation thats what i do if i feel that said forum is not for me anymore i just delete my account or ask the mods to do so and then im GONE

As you say youre self if they dont like you in there then time to leave

Ive lost count on how many forums ive left because ive felt out of place in them .

It's still fairly new and is scummy as all hell. It's called "AutismTalks" where Autistic people all over can share their life experiences in video form or whatever, but requires you to pay an exorbitant amount upon making an account to even gain access to the site at all.

I unfortunately can't find it as all that comes up is Autism $peaks crap and other stuff about Autism

Actually, I think it is called "Autism Stories". According to the ads I got in my email for it, the point is for autistics to share their stories of triumphing over their autism or similar loaded language to that point. Apparently Alex Plank intends for people to pay HIM to put THEIR personal stories on his site, and then he uses other people's stories to make money for HIM! If it was like Youtube where the creators of the videos get a little money for themselves, it might not be too bad, but no, all the money goes to Alex and his buddies. Alex refused to fix the multiple problems with WP, including massively buggy software, for ages, because he was raking in the dough from the way things were. Then all the mods quit, and Alex released a forum software base that worked (or not) even WORSE. A few members helped repair it, then at least one of them was permabanned suddenly and without explanation. At one point, a WP user posted a parody of Alex's greed, and Alex kicked the user off because "you can't say that [crap] on Wrong Planet" and accusing the guy of putting words in his mouth. Alex is a real dirtbag, all he cares about is his bank account and his ego.

Interesting... if you google autismstories.com there are several entries, all of which return the message "THIS WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE."

yeah, that's it, autism stories... but yeah, super scummy all the same

The Facebook page for Autism Stories is also unavailable, but their Linked In entry is still up ... location, Grand Cayman. (LOL)

I don't know anything about the forum, but is it a xenophobic forum?

There must be white supremacy forums, I assume, so if you were to go to one and post, "Stop, that's racist," they might not react well.

Some English people have a bit of a superiority complex, so it’s not unusual of them to look down on Ireland or see it as a bit of a joke.

I don’t know what the general rule for that forum is. But I did think the comments on the thread were below the belt regarding giving ROI a crappy train.
