Is curry always hot? I don't much care for foods that make my tongue sting. When I was a kid my mother always used to put a few sultanas in the curry (English curry) but that's disgusting, it's like having pineapple on a pizza. I like a flavourful curry, it doesn't have to be overly hot, just tasty. Something that makes you break out in a sweat after 3 bites but doesn't burn out the taste buds. A slow burner, not a ring burner.

You can make it as hot or as mild as you like.Is curry always hot?
Reminds me before my veg days of dip for chicken nuggets. Honey-mustardYou can make it as hot or as mild as you like.
Mustard by itself is also not hot, but add the tiniest bit of black pepper to it and it becomes extremely hot, it accentuates pepper flavours.
