You're in a violent mood, @Yeshuasdaughter.
Oh no. Not at all. Right now I'm literally thinking about flowers and trees and mermaids and crows. And very grateful too for all my blessings, and praying and worrying about friends and relatives. And eating a slice of quiche with rose petal tea.

It's just I grew up ranching, and I remember shiny antique rifles on the wall and the lovely scent of gun oil and the smoothness of old leather. It's not anything violent at all. Just recalling the calibers of ammo and stuff like that because we're up counting in the mid 300s. I thought it'd be clever.

SS-371, a submarine, the USS Lagarto. Commissioned in October 1944, it disappeared the next May, probably sunk by the Japanese. Its wreckage was discovered in 2005. By then, its namesake lizard fish - also called the Cape Verde giant skink - had become extinct.

Badge 373, a film released in 1973 based on a true story. It was a spin-off of the very-popular The French Connection from two years prior. This one was a bust, though it had a good run outside the US.

In 1965-1966, Angus Barbieri fasted for 382 days. He did drink non-caloric beverages, took vitamins and ate yeast extract. Doing it under close medical supervision, he went from 456 to 180 pounds, then successfully maintained the lower weight.
