Corrupt A Wish

Your wish is granted. Everything is very easy now, and pleasant too. But there's no challenge anymore, no more dopamine rush when everything works out after a bit of problem solving. And that's just boring.

I wish everyone knew how much they were truly loved and cared for.
 
Granted. Someone you love and care for realizes how much they are loved and cared for, but they remain ungrateful, after the fact.

Have you ever owned a pogo stick?
 
Yes, as a child. It was old and rusty from previous generations of cousins, and I never could really jump up and down it like a pogo stick. But I could sort of balance standing on it.

Did you have your own room as a child?

Oh shoot, we've been playing the game wrong! lol. This is Corrupt a Wish, not True or False or This or That, lol.

As nice as it's been, we should get back to the game. One person expresses their wish, the next person grants their wish with a funny, disappointing catch. And then that person expresses what their wish is.

*by the way, to answer your question- slippers, or better yet, bare feet.*

Your wish is granted. But now everything is at a preschool level, and you're never challenged. Random ladies on the street come up to you and say "The sky is blue. Can you say blue?" or "That's a triangle. Can you say triangle?"

I wish I owned a big cargo van.

I wish my kitchen counters cleaned themselves so I don't have to wipe them down multiple times a day.
 
Granted. Your kitchen counters are cleaned by a self maintaining android, whose sole purpose is to clean your kitchen counters.

Unfortunately, the android becomes violent and turns on you.

I wish I had improved powers of concentration.
 
Granted. But the new laptop has poor heating control and overheats when you try to use it for any sort of demanding task.

I wish that I could regularly buy a cutting edge gaming laptop.
 
Granted, but soon you become a hoarder, and your house is filled with floor to ceiling stacks of gaming laptops.

I wish I didn't have to miss anyone.
