l go light, my digestive track is sluggish in the morning. But l make a rotating menu of protein grits, protein pancakes, protein waffles, and an assortment of omelets, easy over eggs, poached eggs, steel cut oats, spam fried rice, protein shakes, avocado toast, and yummy egg /bagel sandwiches, and potato or sweet potato hash for my guy. And occasionally, we have muffins, or croissants, or protein cereal rotating thru. Breakfast is a big deal. Occasionally, l whip up my version of huevos rancheros.
I ate a toasted English muffin with cheddar cheese and a thin piece of sandwich ham this morning.
Sounds yummy....but I only have a hot drink for "breakfast". Rarely have a full meal in any morning.
I've never considered myself to be a "morning person".![]()
I'm definitely a morning person. That's when I'm the most energetic. I walked about 2 miles this morning, picking up litter as I went. People are pigs here, no insult to pigs intended. I found an old Barq's root beer glass bottle which I threw away.
