Aspie Father's day Message

I always say I'm so glad you're my Dad! Because my dad has Asperger's yet he always held down a job and paid the bills and did what he could to love my mom, brother and me. I have the same kind of struggles that he does and I know that what he did (though not a typical great dad) came at great cost to him and that he loved/loves us the best way he knew/knows how.

I don't know where my father's (or my mother's) pride in me comes from, but its there.
You taught me how to be a more normal person, which I am very glad for because being a nut doesn't work out so well.
And you clearly saw that well before i did.
