Aspie and Proud

I love being autistic and wear it like a badge
Not only am I different...I am who I am ;)
"joins in the happy dance" :D

Wait, we can be proud?
* joins the back of the Aspie congo line, breaking toes and kicking shins *

Be proud, we Aspies are special !

"I'm so glad I'm an Alpha because we are so incredibly clever. We are much better than those Betas who don't work so hard. Then there's the Gammas, they are so stupid."
paraphrased from Aldous Huxley: Brave New World

Yes I agree, having Aspergers is like Natures gift to us. There is noting wrong to be proud of something like this. Here on this forum we are like a big family so I will join the dance of joy too.

I wouldn't be me without AS. I defines me. It's what makes me good at what I'm good at and bad at what I'm bad at. As far as I'm concerned, the good out weighs the bad by a long ways. I love being a Aspie!

I'm proud and happy to be me. *Fastens Asperger's and ADHD badges to clothes and starts the awkward dance of the flailing limbs.* :D

Yes! Ugh, a lot of people say things like, "You are not your Asperger's," and, "It doesn't define you," and the truth is that it does. I'm proud of mine for this reason, too.

The things I like best about myself come from my Asperger's nature, as do the things that are my biggest challenges.

Normal people aren't affected by Kryptonite, but neither can they fly. I accept the weaknesses if they are the cost of my strengths.
