Answer a QUESTION with a QUESTION

Is there a safe way to answer that which won't sound as if I'm trying to tell you what to do?
 
What if you're talking to someone who has, not explicitly stated, but implied, that they don't like being told what to do, and you want to be polite?
 
Isn't it generally highly effective to off-load unpleasant work to freelancers, thus keeping one's hands squeaky clean and simultaneously maintaining plausible deniability?
 
Isn't that about when the least lazy person in the house tosses it it the laundry so the most lazy person in the house has to dry their hands on their shirt?
 
Can you imagine what would happen if you came out of the restaurant restroom with a big wet spot on your trousers?
