Why do they care more about what's behind my ears than they care about what's between my ears?
 
For the purposes of clarity and precision, is it not best to indicate longitude and latitude?

Why do you suppose people so seldom use the word "unto" in casual conversations anymore, saying stuff like "Take this soup unto thy spoon and aim it at your mouth"?
