AI and robotics are coming. Which jobs will be in high demand? Which jobs are at risk?

A lot of international mining corporations are going to go nuts in a few year's time too, part of our plan is to severely limit the amount of raw ore we ship to other countries. Instead we want to manufacture different types of steel ourselves and ship the value added product.

We had already legislated to end all gas exports by 2050 too, then Japan threw a spanner in to that because their entire economy relies on gas for production. If we cut their gas supplies it would be tantamount to economic murder. Thankfully Canada has started supplying Japan with gas and we're now back off the hook.

We've also been mining and stockpiling heavy rare earth ores but we're not selling any of that to anyone under any circumstances. This is also part of the plan for Australia's industrial future, when we're able to refine these rare earth metals ourselves then we'll start selling the value added product.
We have an area in northern Ontario called the ring of fire should be developed into mines soon.

Noticed pattern China is using their lower population as bargaining chip. Soybeans with US canola in Canada, Now as winter approaches they are starting to crack. Interesting how it plays out.

The solution to jobs being lost to capitalism is to create a better social safety net -- move away from dog eat dog and financial rewards for hard work; I would be just as happy to contribute for pride in a job well done and social acceptance as for money if one of the key roles or government was to actually ensure everyone had a minimum income enough to have safe, clean, comforable housing (not like mansion - nobody needs those unless maybe they run a hotel or something; but not living in a closet either); coean comfortable clothes of their preference; medicine; education; food; clean water for hygeine and bathing etc.

People think socialism is the same as fascism. Reality is that fascism can corrupt ANY system or government, and it has corrupted various types of democracies all around the world - it is sad that decades of propaganda have created the bizarre mass delusions that:
1. Socialism and communism are identical. (This is false)
2. Both socialism and communism involve dictatorship and are anti-democratic and anti-freedom. (This is also false)
3. Capitalism (which is supposed to be an economic system not a governmental system per se - but realistically you cannot separate economics and government) is immune to corruption by dictatorship and fascism (so incredibly false)

Canada is a to a large extent a socialist democracy -- we are not a fascist dictatorship and we value freedom, individual rights and individual choice, we have free enterprise.... "socialist" DOES NOT mean "fascist dictatorship" it means looking after everyone, it means caring about every single person in a society and trying to make sure everyone is looked after equitably instead of merely equally. There are many ways to do that - we don't need to ban robots and industrialization to give people healthy, meaningful lives.

Disabled people who cannot work in the competetive labor market but have enough support to live modest but comfortable live can tell you - paid employments is not necessary for a meaninful life nor for motivation nor the only way a person can contribute to their community.

Some might tell me to wake up this is the real world and in the real world you'll never get everyone looked after....I say don't be so sure -- if people push for things, get creative with community solutions, if need arises....stranger things have happened.

(PS: if this has to be deleted because it is too political, I am okay with that and I apologize - I cannot tell either way.)
