I try to always tell the truth, but I have no idea how to sound honest.
The thing that annoys me about the social meaning of body language is that the meaning people attach to it is not always the emotion such body language actually accompanies. For instance, people think smiling means happiness. But I read about a study that found that frustrated people smile.I was thinking the same thing....like there isn't an audio equivalent of the visual aspect of lying. The sole reason why I worked so hard to learn to look people in the eye. To establish credibility. But the sound of my voice? Hmmmm....I'd have to think about that some more.
