That reminds me of a stretch of road my Mama and I would drive on when we would head to Grandma's house when I was little. When we got to the stretch where the trees arched over the road we would say "wheeeeeeeeee!" as we went through the tree tunnel. That has always been a good memory.
A day of deep trauma for most of us.Oklahoma City National Memorial, honoring those affected by the 1995 bombing, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Seen is the Field of Empty Chairs, the Reflecting Pool and the eastern Gate of Peace. The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was not rebuilt, leaving the entire site to serve as a memorial. Saturday will be the 30th anniversary of this tragedy.
