X in the map marks the airfields where hangars were destroyed by the Japanese Axis kamikaze pilots during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, California

I lived fairly close to here growing up. It was a beautiful place that we enjoyed visiting on short drives. But for fun, my family had a tradition where whenever we passed through the town and the surrounding valley, we would all start exclaiming with disdain "Yuck! Look at all that Yucca! It's so Yucky here! Yuck! Nothing but Yucky Yucca as far as the eye can see."
