    I dont know about everyone else, but every truly successful relationship I've seen in everyone I know has come about not by obsessive need, but by just... having normal days, and meeting people.

    Also, I've said it before, but people can pick up on that desperation, and for many, it's a great way to push them away before you even interact. That doesn't help either. Just something to consider.

    You just love those self-fulfilling prophesies, don't you; because they give you an excuse to do nothing. Continue to resist change and in 5 years you will be singing the same tune. Frankly, it's getting boring. Working to be desirable possible, so start with your attitude

    @Gerald Wilgus "Working to be desirable is possible", that reminds me of a saying I heard recently: "Stop focusing on finding the right person. Instead, focus on BECOMING the right person". Dont remember where I saw that, but it's a darned good line, I think.

    Desperate for connection back when I was 25, I was determined to enjoy life and myself while also investing in my career. That and accepting people gave me the confidence to start dating and after 3 years met a wonderful woman when I least expected it.

    I thought I had to work my usual 1:00 to 5:00 shift but I am actually scheduled for 3:15 to 7:00.

    Why are drawing and playing guitar important to you? Most people can't do those two things either. That's completely normal. I'm not understanding the obsession over something that is otherwise normal.

    @tree I have a topic and that would be the communication difficulties with autism. I just feel really daunted by how much I need to write as well as research for it.

    Break it into bits.

    Each of the four sections of the body must have at least three paragraphs with at least five complete sentences each:

    5 sentences per paragraph.

    3 paragraphs per section.

    4 sections.

    60 sentences.
