I never realized until this winter how many white birch trees we have around here. They’re kind of rare around here since they’re native to Europe, and I believe they’re endangered in Massachusetts. They are so pretty.

It’s really nice living right in the woods!
Enzo has a much better view now… plus if you’re sitting on my bed looking to the right you can see everything I mentioned last night.
I’ve never lived in a house where I could see the stars from my bedroom window before. Now I can… I can also see the harbor and the lights from the next town over in the distance. I think I have found my forever home.
I finally have my own separate room for dog supplies!!!
All moved into my new house, and wifi is back!
I will try to get around to answering some messages in the next few days...Aside from the foot injury, how is the house? Are you excited to be moved?
Of course, first night in the new house, I break a wine glass, step on a piece of glass, get it stuck in my foot, bleed all over the kitchen floor, and do “surgery” on my foot to get the glass out. No one was answering the phone and I didn’t want to call 911. I’m fine, I was able to stop the bleeding without stitches, but I’m going to the doctor in a few hours. Just my luck…
The dining room is done… but I’m not entirely sure yet how I feel about all the open space, and the minimalist Scandinavian furniture. Hope it will grow on me. I’m not used to having a big house.
