  • Will others celebrate with me when I finally find love after feeling like it would never come into my life?

At the very least, SHE will...
This pig will walk on the water, this pig will walk on the sea! This pig will walk wherever he wants! Walk on me!

Sure can't post the title or full lyrics to that one.

Good song but not safe for work.
I want to make a positive topic before I post regularly again. I have an idea for it but I keep dozing off when I get home.

Doze off & post about an awesome nap?
Any desire to post positive stuff is in itself positive.
The fact the toddler boy at the library liked me months back is proof I would not be an abusive parent.

Not meaning to be blunt - but a moment in a library with a toddler isn't the same as being a parent. I wouldn't say abuse would be a primary concern. But a parent who is prone to worry, catastrophic thinking and depression has the potential to rub off on the child. Also, research would indicate genetics in ASD and other disorders has a part to play.
No fuzzy feeling in my head after taking adderall today. I wonder why I still feel indecisive, though.

You expect a chemical to change your beliefs?

I thought it would change my neural patterns. I didn’t really factor in beliefs.
I feel put out I missed the college registration deadline. :(

I did that once, too. Missed the deadline.

It was a combination of low funds and indecision on what I should major in (Getting asked that is thorny for me) as well as not having a good laptop and I don’t have a PC. I use my iPhone mainly because my laptop is junk.

My miss was less complicated. I just had the wrong date. I would have paid extra, if that had been an option, to go to school that semester. But, it wasn't a fatal error. I was definitely on time to sign up for the next semester.
Why did I even attempt anything when it was all for nothing? :(

Most of my attempts were for nothing too, but at least I tried, and I learned from having tried, and I'm a better person for it.

Markness.....So, you don't believe in incremental progress, incremental learning? It's all or nothing; perfect achievement or total failure?
    Markness
    Markness
My mind thinks that way. A lot of it has to do with how I was brought up and words like “incremental” were considered “liberal words”. Is it possible to change how my mind processes things?
According to someone, I was attractive until my hairline receded and that I am ugly now. He also said it’s why I don’t have a girlfriend. :(
I haven’t drawn anything for a long time and my guitar is collecting dust. Life denied me the talent for both things.

When I was a few years old mom took me to an elderly pediatrician for my medical issues and he said he thought I would be a musician, so she bought a guitar. It rotted in a closet for 15 years before she sold it. I'm more suited to a soldering iron. Lesson: find something you're suited to. It's not always what you expect.

Practice doesn't necessarily make perfect, but it works better than not trying.
I don’t care if others are tired of me saying it. I feel sad because I don’t have a relationship. :(

Similar boat, am trying to detox from my abuser but I’m trying to understand that having no relationship is far better than having a bad one!

Markness --- When you say how you feel, people tell you to *snap out of it*/knock it off/grow up....etc? So then you feel sad & angry, and inferior? For not meeting expectations (yours & other people's)?

The more time you dedicate to something - the better you get at it. Depression is no different.
I feel like I did back in 2006 when I learned I had Aspergers all over again. Sad, alone, and hopeless. :(
Why did life deny me happiness?

    It's not life - it's your perspective.

Frequent use of the passive voice, I see in your comments. Gives the impression that you regard yourself an object being acted upon, more than you see yourself the active subject.

Turns out she was just dating someone and it didn’t pan out. But apparently she’s dating someone else again.
I was told I am too ugly to ever have a girlfriend. :(

Uh, I think you need to re-read up on the basics of genetics. Pay attention to the fact that with megafauna like humans, where there are many many possible genetic combinations, a man/woman may not look precisely like any ancestor.

That being said, your relatives will be sure to remind you how much you look (& act) like Uncle So & So... ;)
