    Taking things very literally

I'm not sure how much I do it now but I know I used to a lot, being objective about your own behaviour is really hard.

When and how did you hear about Aspergers syndrome?

I heard about it just a couple of years ago,I never fit in as a child and was told by several educators that I didn't belong in public school. Actually, people who knew me mentioned that I might have asperger's so I read up on it and concluded that I probably do.

    Question for Aspies

I get on with most people pretty well, none of my family know that I'm an aspie, they just think I'm real quirky, they don't know what AS is. Most everybody else knows, people problems still just come out of nowhere sometimes, probably because of my inability to pick up on social cues...

    Hairstyle

it's an older relatives job to criticize your hair, clothes, music, friends and anything else they can think of. If we didn't you'd miss your chance at expressing your youthful teenage rebellion!

Did you get things upside down, back-to-front as a kid?

I was an above average reader but my penmanship was always very poor, still is. That was the result of my lack of hand eye coordination,I don't remember getting letters backwards but I had a lot of problems telling left from right, putting shoes on the correct feet, reading clocks, riding a...

I lost my uncle and I am grieving

The grieving process is difficult but there is light at the end ot the tunnel, takes 4 to 6 months to get through the worst of it for most people. Don't hesitate to seek out support groups or a therapist if you need to, a part of the pain will stay with you always but you will get better.

    I have obsession

I don't see how any half intelligent creature would like being held captive, sooner or later they're gonna get pissed off.

    Vampires

You might go down to your local dvd rental store and look in the old movie section for Dracula with Bela Lugosi or some of the later Hammer productions with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.

    Aspergers think logically?

I don't think anybody can be 100% logical all the time because as hard as we try we are still just sophisticated animals and those animal instincts will always be a part of us. Heck, even Mr Spock got a little teary eyed every once in a while!

    Roommates/living situation

Ahh,I remember those days, living with a bunch of crazy 20 somethings(myself included)and trying to make it work. Truth is it never works for very long, hard enough to put up with just one other person. Usually people at that age just aren't mature enough to deal with each other for very long...

    Morals and Principles.

i try to treat family members with a lot of consideration and mostly I succeed, street preachers or people who come to my door with a bible in hand are targets and nothing more,I get nasty in a big hurry. I do often offend people without meaning to,so I end up apologizing a lot.

    Do you scare easily?

I had irrational fears when i was young and still have some of them.I wonder if I'm overly suspicious sometimes.

Does your mind work too hard?

I tend to not pay attention to what I'm saying and offend people without meaning to,I don't over think I under think and not respond to nonverbal cues, usually I'll figure it out later and plan to fix my screw up the next time I see that person.
