Do you set your taskbar to auto-hide?

I don't keep mine hidden, I like to easily access things (and I look at the clock often). I think in the past when I was a lot younger I may have kept it hidden, I can't quite remember to be honest.

Anyone have trouble liking people romantically?

I don't feel the same way you do, but thought maybe I have some thoughts on the matter that may help you. I have a boyfriend and obviously I'm attracted to him. However, some people, even if they are married, still sometimes feel attraction to other people. I don't feel that. I feel attraction...

What was the last movie you watched?

    I love Wreck-It Ralph!

    Feel extremely awkward meeting strangers!

I often replay situations like that in my mind and think about what I could've done better. So your reaction makes sense to me. I guess it'd be best to limit the time thinking about it, however I'm not quite sure how to do this myself, so I'm not sure if I could be of any help. I try to think to...

I'm not an Aspie, but I have OCD.

Wow.. I feel for you :(. I hope you can find some help here. I've read that it's possible to severely lessen OCD but very few people get rid of it completely. That makes sense, it might be associated with something beneficial.

    Cities

I live on the edge of a smaller city, which is quite nice. It's relatively rural around here, so we get some nice quietness. Shops aren't that far away when you need them. I couldn't live in a big city, it'd be too noisy and crowded for me.

    Current book(s) you're reading?

I'm reading George R. R. Martin - A Song of Ice and Fire 1: A Game of Thrones and Susan R. Lisman and Karla Dougherty - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for Dummies.

How Did You React To Being Diagnosed?

When I heard it, I cried. I'm not sure why that was, I think to finally get recognisation of what we'd been thinking for a while. I was glad we knew now what it was that's different about me.

Dealing with a Lot of Information / Experience at Once

I would also try to break it up into smaller pieces (sometimes I don't manage). I also like to make a list, if there's too much information, writing down important bits. If I can, I take a break (ie. by going to the toilet or, lying down if at home). I easily get overwhelmed and these things are...

Help for Dating Someone with High Functioning Autism

I have High-Functioning Autism and my boyfriend's an NT. I am high-maintenance but he loves me and thinks the good far outweigh the 'bad' (my words not his, he loves everything about me). Whereas some of my autistic traits annoy me sometimes, he's said he likes them. While he doesn't like me...

    How NTs see Aspies

My parents and boyfriend know me well, I think they'd agree that the picture in the OP doesn't apply to me. I mean, I won't say I'm not high-maintenance or difficult to deal with at times, but I don't think it's quite as bad as the picture makes it seem.

Talking in front of the class and answering questions

I really don't like being the centre of attention and I don't like standing up in front of everybody and answer questions or give a presentation. You're supposed to look at everyone, in the eyes, I find that hard to do. Not only do I have to think about what to say and how to say it, I also have...

    Your "to read" list

I don't normally making reading lists these days, because I tend to pick what I feel like reading. Sometimes I make piles, but then end up reading something else or only reading half the pile. When I was a child, I did make piles because I got most of my books from the library (and so you had to...

Clothes - Do you like to wear the same outfit?

I wear quite a few of my clothes but I tend to wear certain ones on certain days, because I feel certain clothes bring more luck than others. Generally, when I need luck, I wear the outfit that's very comfortable, and appropriate to the situation (ie. something neat when it's needed) and that I...
