World trying to beat me down. I drown them out with the screams of the unclaimed. In a Metal mood today. Got a Metallica cd.

Classic Metallica is an excellent choice for when life seems to be bent on beating you down. My personal favorite for this situation is the 1988 album "...And Justice For All". I've talked to Metallica fans who consider that CD their best work. When the band got title to their music catalog, they called the holding LLC "Blackened Records".

Do others even want me to have a girlfriend? Why does everyone seem so hostile to me in regards to wanting a relationship?

Take some of that time focused on others and use it to start approaching woman. Say hi- what's your name. See if you can get 2 names every day.

Third month start asking woman what do you do for fun? This helps finding someone with similar interests. It's work, but you may meet a really great person like yourself.

I haven’t drawn for a long time. I got put out from the lack of comments or being told what I did was incomplete. No one likes me.

More over-generalisation. Just because you get a handful of negative comments doesn't mean the entire population of the world dislikes you.

Hi; Yes, God is hearing you and loves you. You can find all your answers to the questions in the Bible. If you don’t know where to start go to Psalms, it was written by King David. The back of most Bibles will tell where you can look things up that are of concern. (((Big hug)))

I found out a lady I was interested in already has a boyfriend. This life is getting unbearable for me. It’s not a journey but torture.

That's a common retort. Chris Chandler called it the "infinitely high boyfriend factor". Where I live asking a woman out is considered an insult, so I hardly ever see it, but the boyfriend thing is what women say to get a guy to buzz off.

I've had things like this & the way I deal with it is, if I like the girl, I want her to be absolutely living her best life. So if she's already found a guy she likes, awesome! Usually I end up seeing the boyfriend too & a lot of times they're a cute couple--all the world loves a lover so I like seeing everyone happy-

I don’t understand it when people tell me “Work on yourself!” or “Improve yourself!”. Both things sound so vague and unclear to me.

If they know you, and see that you're suffering from depression - they're trying to offer general advice. Dedicating more time to self help, than spending more time focusing on thoughts that continue to amplify your depression and other negative emotions. As with many things in life - the more time you spend dedicated to something, the better you become at it. Depression is no different.

If a NT sees that somebody is "down" or depressed, they want to help, but usually they don't know how. But they still want the person to know they care, so they fall back on generic platitudes. They're not really giving real advice per se but just want to let a person know they care. NT's really didn't have a socially acceptable direct way of saying it until the mid 90s and "I feel your pain".

Thank you. It is good to know the why of the condition. Plus I’ll enjoy (I guess?) reading about “disorganized" migrational layering of neurons & neurotransmitter imbalance.

Hi Have you found anything to help with tinnitus? I’ve had it for more than a decade 24 hrs/day. I’m used to it but wouldn’t be sorry to ‘hear it go.’
    1. Neonatal RRT
      Neonatal RRT
Not really. Unlike other forms of tinnitus (and visual disturbances) that are vascular in nature or from some sort of injury, our form is likely due to a thalamo-cortico dysrhythmia. It is a combination of somewhat "disorganized" migrational layering of neurons, as well as, some degree of neuronal anatomical aberration and neurotransmitter imbalance.

Tinnitus can be caused by a lack of magnesium but you've got to be very to precise in how much magnesium you use if for instance you use indigestion tablets that are magnesium carbonate you would have to add that into however much you take as a supplement or you will become very familiar with the toilet

You can use "chelated" magnesium supplements. Easy to find. Generally better tolerated and absorbed. Magnesium is also good for relaxing the heart and blood vessels, helping with anxiety-induced blood pressure issues. Having said that, I take a fair amount of magnesium, 1000-1500mg/day, and no change in my tinnitus,...but perhaps worth a try anyway.

Yes, that part sounds nice. It sounds like the staff do most of the cooking. I think the residents set the table and do little things. It would be four residents including me and 2 or 3 staff depending on the time of day.

A lot of times people don't catch anything. It has more to do with the water temperature and the fish than you.
