Ace, RIP, the only talented member of KISS has passed away.

He and Peter couldn't pass the ego of Gene Simmons. I figure Gene's obnoxious personality was just as toxic as Ace and Peter's drug use. Go figure.
The bookkeeper at the office is jinxing my weight loss progress. She brought in Krispy Kreme donuts for everybody today. I had one and stopped there. They go great with black coffee.

They failed in Australia, you see a couple around the place but they're not very popular and struggle to stay in business. They can't compete with Aussie bakeries that sell so much more than just donuts and soft drinks. Donuts were never really popular here to start with, like hotdogs, only kids like them.

I put a cut up bendy straw between an empty cup and a cup full of water, and water flowed into the empty cup. Physics, right?

How did you get it to go up hill over the bend?

You don't have to use a straw either, drape a bit of cloth between the two cups. Water will travel up the cloth and in to the other cup until the water level is the same in both cups.
I am going to dedicate some time every week to keeping my house spotless. Starting today. I feel better when my man cave is free of clutter.

I can relate. When stressed, I basically turn into the Tony Shaloub character, "Monk." I have to clean and arrange everything.
Hanging out with Christians is annoying because they never want to do anything, they're spiritual propaganda about why I'm single, and they segregate me from the women.
Hanging out with non Christians is annoying because even though we mix, I have to deal with the gradual shift from G to R Rated language.

No. I get along with women better and when I have a chance women often open up to me and tell me stuff they don't share with others. I don't get along with men. I grew up with all male cousins, a low functional sister, boys who bullied me, and no female friends. Do the math.

I do agree with coping with the profanities, and I am working on that.

Negative experiences with males can result in you interpreting men's behavior more negatively, which can make it more difficult to get along with men. However, if you practice thinking more positively and seeing the good in other men, it can make it much easier to get along with them.
Just started reading a novel this morning before I had to go to work. Filling my brain with literature just might be the ticket to give me something more interesting to think about than my family.
Apparently, salt water is good for cleaning coins too.

Not for copper coins, or any that have alluminium in their alloy, some metals react with salt. (alkaline)
Most commonly used is a mild acid, Coke works well.

There's a trick for cleaning old silver plated bowls & such: put a sheet of aluminum foil in the sink. Add water, salt, and vinegar. Silver & silver plate comes out mirror bright (wash completely with soap and water & quickly dry or it will soon tarnish again.

And one of my Mum's tricks for ornamental silverware - not food utensils - was to spray them with hair spray straight after cleaning them. Can't oxidise if it can't get oxygen.

Are you sure weed isn't just a substitute for alcohol?
Any chance that using weed is perpetuating the cycle of addiction?

I only ask because that how it was for me.
You don't have to answer, but it is an idea to consider.
Why is folding laundry so utterly painful 😢 I have my big head phones on and I got one pair of socks done. Is that enough? It just hurts soo much I want to curl up and cry and I dont cry.. I dont get it..

Demand avoidance? A common problem for many of us.

I wishh that were the case! I think it is mostly because of my Traumatic Brain Injury. Although it kinda is now because I avoid doing it because of thw pain it causes lol
I feel so incredibly weak and dizzy but I must go visit my brother, out of love. I can barely get up or talk. But I'll have to push through, for him. A lot of people are counting on me. And there is communication between agencies that only I can do. I feel like I might need a hospital stay myself, no exaggeration.

Great to read you are still moving forward, but this isn't to discount your struggles. Struggles? Are they to keep us grounded, l never know why we have to go through it.

Is he doing any better and how are you holding up?
I just want my loved ones to be safe, kind, and together. There was a children's book I read my daughter once. Instead of the "Happily ever after", it concluded with "And no one was ever lonely again."
