Charity collectors

I hate street charity collectors with a passion. They make smartarse comments when I obviously feel uncomfortable in their presence. However, their presence would not be an issue if they did not approach me. I have no problem with someone standing behind a street stall touting their cause but these people don't do that. They come up to me and often at inappropriate times. For instance, this bloke today who approached me with my hands full trying not to drop my lunch. I said it was obviously not a good time to talk. I was told to have a nice day with all the sincerity of Vladimir Putin. How ironic charity collectors find me at my most uncharitable.
