Blog details

I found out I have autism almost two years ago. I was halfway in the process of getting my degree in university (year 2 of 4). Recently I have graduated and I'm on summer break right now. I start working in September.
I did not take the time in the past two years to learn to accept that I have autism. Even though the diagnosis helped me understand the past, it did make my future look dark to me. With school leaving my path and getting into work life, with more time, I've come to realize that I have been ignoring my diagnosis for two years and have kept pushing myself to meet high social standards, which as someone with autism is nearly impossible (I believe today). I developed anxiety and depression due to this.

I hope by writing a blog, I can find peace within myself and I can learn to accept my diagnosis.
