Painting of a Lazarus scene in the church Chiesa di San Gaetano and the chapel of the Crucifixion by unknown painter from 17th century.

I was thinking a bit yesterday on Lazarus himself, how he was post after beating the odds. I do find it hard to say he had a 2nd Resurrection as this only belongs to Jesus himself. God intervened in his case John 11:1-25. I won't unpack this here, but sometimes some people who can end up surviving against the odds when not expected to may need a bit of support to adjust to life again.

The art is the Supper at Emmaus was is a painting by Caravaggio
After Jesus was resurrected he appeared at Emmaus where he had supper. I feel with Easter approaching somewhat drawn to this.

I was at a spiritual centre today and I saw this in one of the rooms the words recovery in dice. I looked at it and said God is a God of recovery as well. This is not a Christian picture as such, but take from it anything that you can if you can. I thought I would share it.

Here are some Art pictures with the descriptions below them. I hope some of you like them. I particularly like the Supper at Emmaus again. I also really like the Nicodemus as he is suspected to be autistic.

I was looking in my Bible today and saw this picture and really liked it. It has been said by some disabled people that God may have a disability and I don't want to get into that. The Bible does speak though of God being on wheels and I love that depiction. God is perfect whether he has a disability or not, he is complete perfection. I like it though given my disability that he is on wheels, it makes it even more closer as well to my own situation in life. With our imperfections when can be complete enough as well. You can see where it is quoted from the picture in the text.

This shows me that the Lord brought light to world at just the age 12 years old around. When he left home to go and teach the elders and was remonstrated for it, his parents' were very concerned.

Simone Martini, 'Christ Discovered in the Temple' 1342

It is a universal story of unexplained absence, parental worry and youthful rebellion.
