Oh wait, as a proper noun it probably won't do, but my tripawed tibetian terrier is the most soulful animal I know!
 
Pain, since dollar sounds kind of like the Spanish word "dolor." IIRC, Shakespeare puns on the word "dollar" in that way in one of his plays, but I don't recall which one at the moment.
