Yeah... While it was nice that it wasn't done with that overly serious way like most previous DC-movies, James Gunn decided to go to the other far-end and make some slapstick comedy-like instead. Not exactly an improvement...I tried to watch the 2025 Superman - I made it all of about 20 minutes. Had to turn it off. Apparently written for children. Not my thing.

I never figured Life of Brian out. But the stoning scene was good and he didn't like being called hook nose, kike, etc.The Fantastic Four: First Steps - Best Fantastic Four movie so far, average Marvel-movie, good superhero movie over all. Didn't change my mind about me waiting the superhero-genre to diminish and give some room for something new...
I prefer The Life of Brian. Mostly because it had a solid story line in addition of funny sketches
