Believe it or not, Yoko wrote this all by herself and the only thing John did was play the guitar on the track and produce it. People who claim Yoko is untalented and her music obviously never listened to this masterpiece which did really well on the charts and even the magazine NME calling it one of the best songs of 1981 and it was nominated for a Grammy.
