What song are you listening to right now?

Hometown crew, takes me back

Oops. Forgot.

54-40 - Ocean Pearl

54-40 - I Love You All

Saw them live a few times. A nice little band. I miss living.

This played on my way back from the dentist just now. Instant melancholy. Many many moons ago a girl, it's always a girl, whom I didn't know apart from that we both had a friend who were friends, lent me ALL her Belle & Sebastian CD's. Out of the blue. Not out of the blue; we did spend one night together, watching Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas on a loop until dawn. About 2 years later and after having moved to a different city, I fell hopelessly in love with that girl and now I can't listen to Belle & Sebastian without thinking of her. Hence, melancholy.

Belle & Sebastian - Mornington Crescent

I have a B&S person, too.

I forgot to attach this one, it's quite a bit higher octane, I need the energy

Rusty - Misogyny

*_handles it_*

*cries for her country while doing so (on the inside)*

You used to be so ok... Think I'm better suited to be a galactic citizen anyway

My main regret about having to go to that f***ing wedding and forgo Bonnaroo this year...

Anyway...

Here's some Devendra Banhart for you. The story behind this song that I heard, and I may or may not be right, is that he heard that they wanted to distribute this album in Starbucks, and he really did not like that idea, so he tacked this song onto the album in the hopes of discouraging them.

Devendra Banhart - "Little Boys"

ROFLOL
(Edit: with the song, not the forgoing Bonnaroo, evidently)

I like listening to this song, but at a scant 60% of the notes seen on this video at mastery level my knuckles burn with agony, I need months more practice to 100% it at this level of play!
Forgot to say that is not me playing just a youtube of the correct difficulty level showing how nearly impossible this song looks to a beginner like myself with every note flying past at that speed.
