Months of practice, routine, and effort have paid off. Marlowe has passed both his public access assessment and Canine Good Citizens test.

He has gone from the reticent oddball puppy no one wanted into a well rounded, still slightly aloof, young dog (8 months old). He still has lightyears to go, but his foundations and sweet, gentle nature are as sound as they come.

Obedience skills, task drills/games, agility work, longline, and PA skill drills. Progress isn't always a linear metric. Often it is a culmination of little wins that are easy to miss if you aren't paying attention.

Zwi has been gone six months today, we've had Marlowe those same six months. We are worlds away from where we started, but I know we're exactly where we are meant to be.

Awesome weather, we've had the windows open and the sound from the local bird species, (cardinals chief among them), is amazing.

Last week we somehow lost Marlowe's ID tag and license while on a walk. Multiple searches turned up nothing, but they were returned a few days later.
