Never mind. My computer is kind of slow but I am satisfied with it. No upgrades for now.

I bought a really powerful quad core with 8GB ram two years ago. It is grossly underused. I got Linux on my 3 and a half year old laptop and it runs better than windows on the quad core.

It should be the case here too --- M$ (Microsoft) slows but open-sourced systems still work better. I am using an open-sourced based system even after 5 years, while changing through two M$ computers.
