Thanks guys. I have to say: It's a weird/warm feeling to know that you're not "alone" and some of your kind really do exist.
Don't get me wrong, after four decades of struggling, four decades of developing my own "Armour to live among Humans ", I've just been Diagnosed last year. My personal opinion: getting older, wiser, gathering knowledge, makes my daily life worse..

Again: Thank you.

It is a strange trip, to gain a late diagnosis. It turned my internal dialogue upside down and inside out. It is great to find like minded and like-experienced others in this world.

Hi, Doe Raymee, welcome to AC. :)

Although it is a tough journey sometimes, finding answers to those once seemingly-impossible-to-answer questions can make it worthwhile.

Best wishes to you. :herb:

Totally agree with this, being also late diagnosed.

Checking in @ Central these last few months has helped massively though; to be able to access other folks' AS - ASD experiences & to communicate & to participate with similar others is a fantastic leveler & can help with isolation ishoooooz also.
