What are some Romanticized shows you like?

for me it's Doctor Who.

I love Doctor Who mainly because it helped me with a desprate time in my life: Being taken out of school. I own a ton of Doctor Who merch. And yet, only 2 DVDs. both Peter Capardi. hell, I bet a bunch of girls like Doctor Who. like I was told time and time again that like MST3K I was in for a journey
that would love to get me a nice significant other.


anything for you guys? any TV shows you would think would get you into facsinating journeys and romantics? don't be shy.

None come to mind. At a time when I was desperately lonely, my bright spot on Friday nights was the Muppet Show. Its gentle humor gave me hope that the world was not a miserable place. With that hope I embarked on maturing a bit, and started growing that culminated in meeting my future spouse.

Interesting question. I suppose my most immediate response would be to simply lament, "I'm not sure". But then romance in r/l was never my strong suit either. Hmmmm. Though the concept of limited romance into plot-lines isn't lost on me either.

Most recently observing the tension between Mr. Spock and Nurse Chapel on "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds". In this incarnation of Mr. Spock, he may eventually "put his hands into the cookie jar", logical or not. Then again Spock's fiance (?) T'Pau may end up killing Nurse Chapel with her bare hands. Logical or not. Hard to say.

Though it's still an outright cliche for screenwriters to prolong the agony of a predictable relationship that goes either nowhere or thrives or crashes and burns. But then producing anticipation is what they presumably get paid for. Do I care whether Spock gets it on with Christine? Nope. After all, I've had fifty-seven years to think about it.
