Undiagnosed but very sure. To I tell people?

I was told by a professional but he didn't make it official. (Didn't include in report for some reason) do I tell or keep to myself??

What did the professional say exactly? Did the professional give you an autism assessment with autism specific testing, etc?

It depends on the circumstance. You don't need to "go out" to everyone about your mental state, but it could be helpful in some situations if certain people are to know. I have a similar situation (ASD specialist told me I have autism, but no official diagnosis) and when I told my boss a week ago, he responded well.

I agree with @Stuttermabolur . You dont need to hide non to anounce it. You can decide when its relevant to share it.

By relevant I mean that will give you more benefits than problems. I have shared with my wife and daugther but not in the work enviroment, with them I just say that I have problems doing social stuff and preffer to do the technical one.

So some work colleagues help me in meetings etc (for example giving me signals on when to talk and when to stay silent) and I help them with proces, KPIs and stuff like that. But I never said them: "Hey, Im an Aspie".

I needed that!

I signed up for an autism evaluation. I looked all over for something I could afford and even asked if I could be diagnosed if it came positive, they said yes. The Dr honestly wasn't very thourogh. I was expecting an expansive evaluation. He said " I definitely believe you have autism, but I'm diagnosing you with social anxiety disorder." Then he didn't include that in his report so if course my mental health look at me like I'm crazy. Its been a silent hell.
