Understanding a social situation

Once someone tells me how to deal with something I'm confused about, I feel better and usually know how to move on more.

If I question something even after I know how to move on, then I am definitely obsessing. but I don't feel this is the case currently.

But people will reasonably think I'm obsessing because they don't get that I'm really confused about something that they might get without thinking it would be something to be confused about.

One could argue I could fragment the sentences more

but not fragmenting it also gives off the right vibe for the potential complication of the situational context
