Uh... hi

Hi... My name's Billy, I'm 17 and I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome when I was 9. I've been lucky to have a "mostly" supportive family and I've been growing up in a healthy environment in the "lovely" British Colony of Gibraltar for the past couple of years.

I'm not really the most social, I'd rather take a computer and some Nintendo games over most things, except for a few friends from a Drama Group I frequented over the years... I came on here because I know my life is going to be changing soon, and I felt I could find support here.

Employment, University, living without the parents, etc, all things I'm soon going to deal with... And I am terrified. So I hope I can kinda settle into a small corner of this community and listen to everybody's stories and thoughts...

Yeah...

Hi & Welcome,
Things are usually much worse in the imagining then in the reality. You are not being sent to the guillotine. ;) You are beginning your own life. You can learn and adapt just like you have had to do before and... might just enjoy it a little bit.

Welcome aboard Billy :)
Hope you enjoy the site. Best wishes.
