Today I've been approved for Weight Loss Surgery

Mattymatt

Imperfectly Perfect
2018 has started off with a bang! Today, I've been approved for weight loss surgery and scheduled for Feb. 9th. Autism notwithstanding, it is difficult to live when you're 170 pounds overweight, have sleep apnea, and type 2 diabetes. This will be the year that I get some physical health and youthfulness back. I cannot wait to no longer feel like an old man before my time.

Congratulations! I know three different people who lost tons of weight with bariatric surgery, it really works

Sounds like you're on track for improved health and quality of life, you must be very happy! Congratulations on getting approved!

I wonder if they do that in France? Because I know someone who could really do with some help in this department. She has got herself in a terrible cycle of weigt gain, chronic backache, high blood sugars, which means, being put on insulin, which in turn, causes more weight gain.

She lives at the top of an apartment and thus, has many stairs to climb and she loves to swim, yet despite this, she is not losing weight.

So glad that you have been approved and thank you for posting.

Thank you! I sought weight loss surgery because my weight had gotten or of control, I've become diabetic, and I've high blood pressure. These maladies all lead to one conclusion, am early death. I'm sure there are programs in France. Attention to weight loss surgery is growing because 65% of people that undergo it, succeed long term whereas only 10% succeed long term with diet and exercise.
