Tiny, but huge breakthrough

A situation occurred today that caused me to have a meltdown and well, to escape my husband, I went to our room.

As it happens, my brother has been staying and this is his last week (3 weeks) and he naturally heard the angry exchange between hubby and me.

My husband came upstairs some time later and asked me is this what I go through and went on to say this: does it take you a huge amount of mental effort to go out and face the world and so, you NEED a scedule in order to cope ie a time plan and when it goes wrong, you are unable to cope? I just nodded my head and he said: I had time to mediate and suddenly thought: is this what it is all about? So, when I upset her plan, it upsets her whole being?

My brother related to me that in fact, he said to my husband: I really think you should apologise to her, because all I heard was you making excuses that was winding her up even more and this got my husband thinking deeply.

Hubby even laughed and said: this nt brain is trying to understand his wife; please help him and remind him often.

I am so grateful to my husband for trying and my brother for his support.

Weird how sometimes something bad can come out as something good. Well done.

Was it a breakthrough for your or your husband? Or both? I got a little confused.

Sounds suspiciously like a bit of manipulation from husband regarding the brother coming to recognise the abuse.
