They have to.
We're here in this life, like it or not.
We don't know the reasons or ways of the universal consciousness.
I've always wondered why we are born to suffer also.
Wish I hadn't been, but, I was. So I concentrate on the small stuff also.
Makes the time more enjoyable as we float down that river to where? We don't know.
Good words that are true: ...there's nothing I can do about it now.
Born to suffer? I guess that makes it all just a little bit worse

Not a curse? How can you say that if we all for the most
Part are nothing like Forrest Gump, Lisbeth Salendar or 10% like rain man? What good can ever come from this pain?
I recently watched Forest Gump, he succeeded in many things without knowing. You missed the whole message of the film. The whole message of the film is “You might not realise the good things you are doing” he met presidents, served in the war, became the owner of a big company, bore a lovely son, and loads of other stuff, The film tells people with no self esteem to look more closely at what they can do.
Rain man was a savant, he won Tom Cruise money in casinos.
Bill gates has aspergers. Steve jobs who owned apple had it.
There are many famous people with it, there are many successful people with it.

Parted seas, walking on water, burning bushes, writing in the wall, talking animals, angels with fiery swords. Not childbirth and the amazing efficient working of pupils or our bowels no the
Amazing power of the sun. Anything spelled out in the Old Testament that I’m considered a jerk for wanting to see.
You are not a jerk.

I know what struggle is. Forgive me if I no longer wish to bang my head against the wall.
You don’t have to bang your head against the wall. There are many successful people who struggled. Look at Stephen hawking, couldn’t speak, wheelchair bound, unattractive, yet he had massive success.

If you haven't yet read up on Job in the Bible. His story is very interesting. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see it. You are supposed to believe it happened without seeing it happen. Test of faith. Believing without seeing.
That being said if you really want to see a miracle. You really need to ask God.

And your not alone in this. I wanted to see God come down on the mountain.
Kinda cool meeting your Creator.

I hope this pings you properly.
@Jared Jacobson I have felt this way before. You aren't alone. There are others that have had the same/similar experiences as you. You are cared about, even if you don't think that you are. Contact your country's suicide hotline. It's free and confidential.

Faith is directly relevant to depression and suicide.

Read the book of Job and the book of John.

Don't listen to the people who say life is suffering. They speak only for themselves.

Well, I prayed once for a sign. I saw an amazing shooting star in the sky. But the missionaries from LDS were a bit skeptical of the being a good reason to convert. Thoughts?

Nah, just normal. Everyone knows what pain feels like. Physical or emotional.

What is LDS missionaries?
Shooting stars are a beautiful sight.
Ever hold one in your hands?
I find that feeling amazing. Knowing you're holding a piece of the creation of the solar system.
It has to cool off first of course.

Here is a drop that fell from the large one that made meteor crater AZ
after it solidified.

The Church of Latter Day Saints.

The Church of Latter Day Saints.
Thanks. Didn't know what that stood for.

Man, I can say one thing, you've created a post that has brought out the many different feelings
of so many members on how they feel about life, it's 4 pages long already.
I'd say that's an accomplishment in itself and probably good for everyone to talk about how we feel
on the subject.
Glad you're here to express yourself.

I think what your looking for is a private sign. One between you and God. Known only to you and God. My thoughts at least.
