The way people treat you, confirms how you feel about yourself

I get mostly the female race, who snub me. Thankfully not all females are like this; but a certain type of female snubs me and I struggle anyway with extreme low self esteem and so, their behaviour to me, just confirms how low I feel about myself.

I read a quote just today that pretty much sums it up.

Your words today, may become her inner thoughts ( or his).

Such a true statement. Little subtle sentances that are designed to seem inoffensive, but are deeply offensive, become the echo in my thoughts.

Life is confusing, but I seem to enjoy getting lost in all of it.

I just smile my goofy crooked smile and let them think whatever they want I guess, then I worry over it for a month.

Quit the opposite, though I think things are changing.

I got from Tony Robbins years ago - People treat you as you subconsciously tell them too. Not in my case as I try with all my might telling them I'm not stupid, which probably translates as 'yup you're right, god he's a muppet'

How true... being perceived as stupid or unintelligent is one of my worst fears, mostly because I hold intelligence in high regard.
