The Poetry Game

This will be a long poem. Post a line after the previous person's line that makes sense and rhymes. (I know not all poems rhyme, but this will be a poem where every singly line rhymes. example:
The Tower in the park
Is always really dark
In it are dogs that bark
and pigs that kill lark.

I start.

A girl got a dog

May I suggest a change in the game rules as there are limited words that will rhyme. We might thus increase the current average posts per year on the thread :)
After four rhymes, the rhyme changes to a new one, but there must be a connection in ideas - ie, its the same poem, not a new poem....

The keeper of the grog in Magog was a cow

I thought I'd collate the whole thing to make it easier to maintain the theme.. perhaps just copy and paste with the next line..

A girl got a dog
Which did a twirl in the fog
Then tripped on a log
the log was in a bog
In the bog was a frog
that threatened to flog
the barking dog
all in a bog in prague
In the log was a synagogue
The synagogue was filled with frogs
all agog with the rabbi's prologue
then off ran the dog
cause his brain was in a fog
from drinking the grog
from the cellars of Magog.

The keeper of the grog in Magog was a cow
Who made the hoard of frogs kowtow

A girl got a dog

The keeper of the grog in Magog was a cow
Who made the hoard of frogs kowtow
And married to the keeper was a sow
She had 100 piglets, her talent did wow

"Kowtow?" the frogs asked why,
"When the rabbi made us Samurai."

We croak and croak, but never die...
Is hara-kiri worth a try?
