That's hilarious!!!

Watching "Good Bye Lenin!". It's like "La vita è bella", but the character must keep his mother (that has awaken from a long coma) believing that Germany is still socialist in order to prevent her from having shocking emotions. One of the best movies I've seen this year.

Pure poetry.

Just make sure your kids and co-workers are out of earshot.
George Carlin's incomplete list of impolite words.

Ah, Lou. I often wonder if you had AS. That abrasive honesty, dry deadpan wit, discomfort in front of people, and general awkwardness might be off-putting to lots of people, but I'm often perceived similarly.

This, from Not Always Right:

(There is soft Christmas music playing overhead.)

Customer: “Can you change this to Christmas music? Put it on [FM radio station].”

Me: “Christmas music is currently playing and this is satellite radio.”

Customer: “No, this is about Santa. SANTA equals SATAN! So change it to [FM radio station], now!”

Me: “Sir, once again, it’s satellite radio. I can’t change it to a local station.”

Customer: “So I have to sit here and listen to this?!”

Me: “No, you may leave.”
