Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Your friendship is precious to me.

I know that these threads have been made before, but this one is Thanksgiving specific.

List one or more people or things you are truly thankful for.

I am thankful for my relatives, especially:

My Daddy. He's so quiet and strong. He has a patient understanding of people and animals. Even though I'm 41, I still aspire to grow up to be just like him.

My daughter. She's so smart, and so helpful, and so good. I love to hear about her special interests as she tells me all about her latest sci fi fandom. Its like swimming in the waters of language as she smiles, eyes bright as stars, and talks a mile a minute. She's my little sweetheart.

I'm thankful for my home and all the blessings I've been given. It's a good life and ive been given so much.

I'm thankful for good friends who I can talk to any time, laugh with and make big dreams together. It's great when someone has had a parallel life and truly understands where you're coming from. Friends who not only inspire you , but they also make you laugh so hard that you cry.

I am grateful for all the accepting and interesting people in my life. I am grateful that despite my ASD, my mind and interests afforded me an escape from childhood poverty to enjoy a life of sufficiency. Have a happy Thanksgiving, everybody.
