My name is Natalie and I am 18 (19 in a few weeks!). I am a freshman getting a Bachelor's in Computer Science, because I love technology and telling it what to do lol. I am also obsessed with science, gaming, collecting, and puzzles, although most of my time is spent on homework and studying. I was diagnosed with Asperger's in middle school, and I got assistance from a psychologist to help with it, but that treatment only helped for a little while. Now that I am in an entirely new stage of life, the advice she gave me doesn't work anymore, so I am basically as autistic as I ever was lol.

Welcome to the forums Natalie. What kind of computer related projects interest you the most?

Are you going to UAH? Just noticed you are from Madison! I am from Huntsville. Welcome from a fellow North Alabamian!

Welcome to aspiescentral Natalie! You will find a lot of wonderful, supportive people here. I know they've encouraged me, and made me laugh when I was feeling down. Just a little word of warning, this site is addictive!

Hello, Natalie. :)

It's interesting that you say your psychologist's advice doesn't work anymore since you're in college now. I wasn't diagnosed until I was halfway through college and both my psychologists said that I stayed "off the radar" because the structure of school days past helped me. Hopefully you're doing better than I did.

Best wishes, and welcome!
