Suggestions for Where to Sleep Besides Closet?

I almost always buy or build a really sturdy table first, if there is room at least. Its better sleeping on top of a table than on the floor. It's pretty easy(for me) to hang curtains or drapes inside. I think above someone suggested big bookcases. You used to be able to get a kit that made a bookshelf inside. Alot of the old fashioned ones(70's) were a kit that came flat and you would paint it yourself

I keep thinking blanket fort.

I'm just the opposite from you though I want to be able to see what's around me. Still thinking blanket fort for you though.
